A new smile can rejuvenate your confidence and transform your life. One of the fastest and safest ways to upgrade your smile is with porcelain veneers. Dental veneers are wafer-thin shells of translucent porcelain that are custom-fitted to your teeth. The dental veneer procedure is a favorite among patients due to the immediate cosmetic results. For the patients who want a smile makeover, and for those who have cosmetic flaws they want to conceal, there is no better option than porcelain veneers. Veneers are used to improve the appearance of teeth that are badly discolored, abnormally shaped, chipped, crooked, or have other defects. Dr. Loren Grossman offers Dallas PA veneers from his convenient and comfortable location.
There is no better Dallas, PA veneers office than Dr. Loren Grossman’s, and the proof is the number of patients who proudly walk out of his office with the smile they always dreamed of.
The Veneer Application Process
The initial consultation. During your first consultation, Dr. Loren Grossman will examine your teeth and dental structure, and will fully explain what to expect if you get dental veneers installed.
The follow-up session. In the follow-up session, we begin to prepare your teeth for the veneer installation. In this session, we trim the enamel on the front side of the teeth to create a better surface to place the veneer. This is not a painful process, and an anesthetic is used to guarantee total comfort.
Teeth-modeling - Dallas PA Veneers
Once the teeth have been trimmed, we create a model of how the veneer is supposed to shaped. This model is used to produce your actual veneers. This process can take one to two weeks, and during that time you may need to wear temporary veneers.
Once the veneers are finished, you will return to our office for bonding. Before the bonding procedure, Dr. Grossman checks the color and shape of the veneers. Once the doctor approves, your teeth are prepared for bonding by quick cleaning, polishing, and etching procedures. Etching roughens your teeth, which creates a better surface for the bonding procedure.
After your teeth are prepared, cement is applied on the veneer. Once the veneer is in the right position, the doctor uses a light to activate and cure the cement. This is the bonding process.
About a week after the procedure, we recommend a follow-up appointment to evaluate how your gums are responding to the new veneers.
